Despite receiving criticism for its portrayal of women, misogyny, and graphic violence, “Animal,” which premiered on December 1, proved to be one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of 2023.
Netflix announced on Thursday that it will begin streaming “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, starting January 26. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also includes Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna, and Triptii Dimri.
Ranbir Kapoor expressed excitement for the film’s digital premiere on Netflix, saying, “We are thrilled by the reception ‘Animal’ received in theaters, and I am pleased that audiences worldwide will now have the opportunity to watch it in the comfort of their homes. The chance to share our work with a global audience is truly special.”
The movie will be accessible in Hindi as well as other languages such as Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada on Netflix.
Described as an action drama exploring “the complexities of modern-day relationships, with a focus on the father-son dynamics,” portrayed by Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor respectively, “Animal” is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Murad Khetani, and Pranay Reddy Vanga.
