- Masan
Watching Masan will be like witnessing a mix of deeply genuine and unfiltered emotions for the entire duration of the movie. Respect to the entire crew for such an alluring film that captures the core of social issues in India. I was so engrossed in the movie that I was in tears midway without noticing it.
The movie portrays relationships in a beautiful way. Be it the one between Vicky and his father (father-son), the comedy with his friends, or the one between Sanjay Mishra and his daughter, and even the small boy. The movie wasn’t a huge hit, but this movie is truly appreciated among people who love true and pure acting.
- Tumbbad
Another Masterpiece Tumbbad is such a fantastic movie, which is appreciated by horror fans. This is one of the most underrated movies of 2018. We should really appreciate films like this one.
Talking about the acting, awesome performances by actors, nice cinematography, superb storyline, and sound effects, I can give it 2 more stars for the climax of the movie. A huge round of applause for the whole team for the script, direction, sound, etc. It is a must-watch movie that can be enjoyed a number of times.
- No Smoking
This film is absolutely the most peculiar, eccentric, intricate, and underestimated movie ever watched, presenting an idea that remains ahead of its time. Initially framing itself as a narrative about smoking cessation, it metamorphoses into a commentary on society that proves challenging to decipher. The plot weaves elements of surrealism, dreaming, and fantasy, leaving viewers perplexed and perhaps frustrated.
While understanding films like Inception or Interstellar may be within reach, this one is bound to baffle and is certainly not suited for everyone. Anurag Kashyap emerges as a true genius, solidifying his status as the foremost filmmaker in India in this generation.
- Gulaal
Another, Anurag Kashyap’s concept, which needs a deep understanding of movies to make sense.
Piyush Mishra’s music, lyrics, acting, and singing are beyond the world. These movies make us proud and show the actual capabilities of the director, actors, singers, and everyone else associated with the movie. This is an ART. And you need to be an artist to understand this movie.
- Andhadhun
Andhadhun belongs to the fiction genre characterized by cynicism. This movie has sudden twists, turns, and shocks throughout the duration, so be prepared.
An exceptional cinematic masterpiece that engulfs its audience right till the end. This black comedy thriller in Hindi takes audiences on a compelling ride marked by unexpected twists, turns, and a touch of dark humor, directed by Sriram Raghavan
